The lobby of Student Building has machines to assist in the preparation of printing, and in the binding. You need no procedures to use these machines, so please feel free to use them.
Printing Area
There is a printer for home use in Student Building Office. Monochrome printing costs 10 yen per sheet and color printing costs 40 yen per sheet. When you finish printing, please put coins in the coin box.
You can also send your data for online printing to monochrome/color printers in the lobby from the computer in the Office. Please bring your USB memory stick when you use this service.
Color Copy Machine
There are two color copy machines in the lobby of Student Building. A black-and-white copy costs 10 yen per sheet and a color copy costs 40 yen per sheet. Please put money into the coin box before using them. You can both copy paper and print a file from your USB memory stick. Double-sided copies and saddle stitch copies are also available. Please come to the Office when machines run out of paper or toner.
Electric Paper Cutting Machine
Electric paper cutting machines make it easy to cut large amounts of paper. Since the blades are very sharp, read the instruction manual carefully and use them with great care. In addition, since it is very dangerous for more than one person to use the machine, be sure to operate the machine alone. Do not cut anything other than paper, as it may result in malfunction.
Saddle Stitching Machine
This machine folds and staples several sheets of paper into a booklet form at the same time. Please come to the Office when machines run out of staples. We provide exclusive staples here. Do not use your staples on the market. Read the precautions and instructions carefully before using.
Paper Folding Machine
This machine is useful when folding a lot of paper. It can fold in two, as well as in three and other ways. Read the manual on the side of the machine carefully before using.
Paper Collating Machine
This machine automatically puts pages of your documents in the correct order. Read the precautions and instructions posted nearby before using.
Paper Shredder
There is a paper shredder in the lobby of Student Building and one in the lobby of Campus Plaza. When the garbage bag in the machine is full, please replace it with a new one that will be given to you at the Office.
